Life in the Church
Children
We love the sound of children in worship! Children’s bulletins, activity borrow bags, picture books (which you can keep), and fidget toys are available in the narthex. Because we have chairs instead of pews, it is easy to bring strollers into the sanctuary if that is helpful, and we have a family-sized restroom. The service is also livestreamed to the nursery in case parents would like to take a break with their children at any point during the service.
Music
Trinity’s worship is a lively, joyful mix of musical styles with varying instrumentalists and our Choir providing worship leadership weekly. Both our Choir and Bell Choir practice on Thursday evenings. All who want to make a joyful noise together are welcome.
If you would like to get involved in our music programs, please email us at MDtrinityfairview@gmail.com.
Evening Prayer
Every week, members of the Trinity community gather on Wednesday evenings for online prayer via Zoom. We read psalms and other Scripture, and then each person has an opportunity to share their prayer, offering back to God the joys and concerns that are on our hearts.
Some of us write our prayers before we meet, some of us pray spontaneously. All are welcome to participate. To receive the Zoom link, contact our church office at kimtravetti@trinityfairview.com.
Use the Forms section to request a prayer for yourself or loved one, submit a praise report (thanks to God for His goodness in your life or others’ life) or to remove a name from the prayer list.
Adult Faith Formation
All are welcome to join us immediately following worship for lively discussion. See the Trumpet for weekly updates and current topics.

TLC (Tender Loving Care @ Trinity Lutheran Church)

History
From the start of our congregation on Dekalb Street in Norristown in 1848 to today in Fairview Village, Trinity has a long tradition of serving the community. Trinity is a place where generosity of spirit and hospitality are always alive.
Trinity Fairview began in 1848. Rev. A.T. Geissenhainer was appointed missionary to Norristown by the Ministerium of Pennsylvania, for the purpose of forming a congregation. A sixty foot lot on DeKalb Street was purchased for $1,325. In due time a contract was let for a building of a one story church on the lot, being of stone and in dimensions 42’ by 55’. The contract price was $2,648. To learn download our pdf.

Library
Trinity’s Library is a wonderful spot to sit and read, or sign out a book to take home. We are blessed with our faithful volunteer librarians, who support our church’s mission to “make disciples for Jesus and teach the Faith”…by providing educational, inspirational, and devotional materials for all ages!
If you would like to make a donation, serve on the Library Team or submit a suggestion, please contact church office.
