Welcome to Trinity Country Nursery School & Kindergarten
Our mission is simple: we serve as a community outreach, providing a Christian early childhood setting in which children grow, learn and develop physically, socially and emotionally in their formative years. We’ve been helping children learn and grow for over 3 decades…and we’d love to help your child learn and live the 3Ls with us! Our program includes children ages 2.7 years to 4 years old for nursery school and children who are 5 years old as of September 1 for our specialized kindergarten program.
Our Programs
2.7 YEAR OLD CLASSES
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 am – 11:30 am
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 am-1:45 pm
Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 am –11:30 am
This program offers a variety of experiences for each child including story time, finger plays, art, creative movement, songs and playtime with equipment and toys that will develop fine and gross motor skills. The extended day class includes time for lunch and extra learning activities.
Age Requirement: Child must be 2.7 years by September of the school year to be eligible for admission.
3 YEAR OLD CLASSES
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:45 am-1:45 pm
Tuesday & Thursday, 8:45 am –1:15 pm
The three year old program offers periods of free play along with structured activities such as circle time, art, music, story time, etc. Students will also learn cognitive skills such as letters, numbers, colors and shapes. Special emphasis is placed on socialization and motor skills. Physical education classes are held bi-monthly. These extended day classes offer time for lunch and extra learning activities.
Age Requirement: Child must be 3 years and toilet trained by September of the school year to be eligible for admission.
4 YEAR OLD PREK CLASSES
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:45 am –12:00 pm
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:45 am-2:00 pm
These classes offer periods of free play along with structured activities such as circle time, art, music, story time, etc. Students will concentrate on cognitive skills such as counting, alphabet & letter recognition. Special emphasis is placed on socialization and kindergarten readiness. Physical education classes are held bi-monthly. The extended day class includes time for lunch and extra learning activities.
Age Requirement: Child must be 4 years by September of the school year to be eligible for admission.
KINDERGARTEN
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 2:00pm
Our Kindergarten program offers a full curriculum including Kid writing, phonics, whole language and the Every Day Math Program. Science and social studies concepts are incorporated into the themes each week by use of the Weekly Reader Program. Art, music and physical education activities are also a part of the program.
Age Requirement: Child must be 5 years by September of the school year to be eligible for admission.
